Sapa is very close to China, a train from Hanoi goes at night and reach to Lao Cai in the morning. From there you can take a minibus, about 2dollars, to Sapa.
North of Vietnam, near to Sapa village. Highest mountain and one of the most dangerest road. Here you could say they have a simple life.
